Hardwood floors after a renovation. The first pair is a bedroom left chalky with fine dust and debris — the kind that settles into the grain and comes back an hour after you sweep. It takes a wet clean, not a mop-over, to lift it. The second photo is the same floor, same windows, once the dust was actually off the wood rather than pushed around it.
Tubs, tile and grout. Bathrooms are where a "clean" house usually isn't. Grout holds mildew, and a tub basin picks up a grey film that wipes off wet and reappears dry. Both bathrooms here needed the grout worked line by line — the blue-tile one and the white-tile one — plus scale taken off the valve and spout. All of it done with natural products, which matters in a room with no ventilation.
A refrigerator deep clean before a move-out. The last five photos are the hardest job in the set: a fridge and freezer left soiled long enough to rust the shelf rails. This is the sort of thing that costs people their deposit, and it is routinely skipped by cleaners who only do surfaces. Shelves and drawers came out, got washed separately, and went back in.
